3t's philosophy is to create efficiencies in the supply chain through state of the art technology. We have 2 methods of utilising technology with our carriers; either using our web portal or through a full systems integration.
Web Portal functionality
Once registered each carrier is given a login for our secure website. This gives the carrier access to their own web portal. Here the carrier can manage all the work undertaken for 3t. This includes receipt & confirmation of delivery manifests, communication of collection times, issues, upload & status of PODs and the review, amendment & agreeing of their self bills.
Web Portal Development
- Carrier information page - a page including information packs for training and health and safety documents.
- Carrier profile page – a page where the carrier can add information such as location of depots, number of vehicles, areas of speciality and other information
- Tenders on the web – tenders for new business may be communicated to all relevant carriers through the web
Full systems integration
3t offer a fully integrated solution with larger carriers that have advanced technology. Planned delivery requirements are communicated directly to the carriers system avoiding any double keying of activity. Tracking files are sent back at key points through the delivery process and PODs are electronically communicated back once the delivery is complete. Invoice files may also be sent by the carrier and processed through GCM.
